Fa Cai Yu Sheng

This is my plate of Salmon Yu Sheng, to be shared with Isaac.

Isaac is going to be nine months old soon. Everyday he is learning more things and is capable of doing more things. This is the first time he spends his Chinese New Year. On Saturday, 14 February 2010, while carrying him and watching TV, I told him that ‘Today is Chinese New Year Eve.’

At eight months, I had already started to give him meat — fish and chicken. Whenever we had our meals, I would let him join us. He would sit on his high chair. On this day, he sat beside me as usual. He is so fascinated by the sight of Salmon Yu Sheng — especially it is so colourful. He tried so hard to touch the Yu Sheng (as can see from the photograph below) but I tried not to let him touch because the Salmon Yu Sheng is very oily. I do not want to bathe or wash up for him again. It is so tiring to look after him 24/7!

This is the first time Isaac is eating Yu Sheng. He loves it so much! I am so amazed that he actually loves to eat it. I also love Yu Sheng! It is very appetizing since there are lime added to it — The Salmon Yu Sheng tastes sweet, sour and crunchy with all the ingredients added together. Yummy! Even Isaac cannot resist it.

Isaac can eat so fast! I fed him Salmon and Pomelo. He simply enjoyed eating them and cried for more when I was too slow in feeding him.
