Great Developmental Milestone

Isaac has better control of his body and limbs now. He is able to stand and twist his body too!

This is the sixth day since Isaac had cut his hair. He is still in his 8 months. This is such a great development milestone. He is so fun to play with, full of curiosity and filled with a mind of his own. He is able to crawl around the house now, in such a fast manner, and he is learning dog crawling now also.

At this time of the month, he can sit in a more stable manner, and I can rest my mind at ease to leave him alone for a little while on the floor (while moving the house at times to get something). He has stronger legs now as well. He is able to stand up with support now!

Besides able to sit, crawl, and stand with support, Isaac is able to say some words now. Today, Isaac shouted loudly and clearly for the first time ‘Jie Jie’ (姐姐 — chinese for sister) facing Clara. This is not the first time he mention ‘Jie Jie’, but at any other time, we were not sure if he really knows or do we really hear clearly what he was saying. But today, we were sure he was saying ‘Jie Jie’ in a loud and clear way. Richard, Clara and I were so amazed and overwhelmed at that moment.

Later in the evening, while I was busy cooking and Richard was looking after him, Isaac said ‘Jesus’ many times! I had told him about Jesus even when he was a baby, below one month old while carrying him (constantly talking to him). I brought him to the altar and told him about Jesus and how Jesus had saved him… Today is such a wonder! While I was carrying the pot of Bee Hoon (Mi Feng = 米 粉) to the dining table and he was sitting on the high chair, he was ‘shouting’ (blurting out loudly) “Jesus, Jesus” so many times and his eyes was gazing at the altar, the Sacred Heart!!! This is amazing, really amazing! Richard, Clara and I was marvelled, greatly marvelled — a day of laughter and joy!

Holy Holy Holy Lord
