Isaac Sharing Biscuits With Siblings

This is the first time Isaac is eating this biscuits, Fancy Gems from Khong Guan. When I was young, I used to eat this and several other types of biscuits… little do I know that… the biscuits which I had eaten were used as offerings to the dead (by the Chinese people). This type of Fancy Gems are being used as offerings to the dead as well, especially to the dead children.

Last night, Clara followed us to 888 Plaza Fairprice, and she wanted to buy this biscuits, and this morning, my three children started eating the biscuits. I do not have any fancy for Fancy Gems now.

Last night was Friday the thirteen.  Nothing bad happened.  On the contrary, we had a big feast, an unusual big feast, once in a blue moon.  So long we had not had eaten any curry fish head and frog legs.  So we bought them at 888 Plaza.  We had some vegetables(bean sprouts and potatoes) and Tofu from the mixed vegetable rice stalls.  Total we spent $50 for a big meal like this.  We cooked our own rice.  Back home, Isaac had frog legs for the first time.  He ate the frog legs and rice.  When I fed him Tofu, he just spitted them out.  He has a sensitive taste bud as well, just like me.

This morning, while I was cooking in the kitchen for Isaac and the children were in the living room, Clara told me that Isaac looked at her Miraculous Medal on her neck and said,”妈妈！” (ma ma).  This is the first time that he had done so without anyone teaching him.  The first time when I bought the medals, one for my mum and one for Clara, I taught him.  I told him,”This is Jesus 的 妈妈。(Jesus’ mother)  He did not say anything.  I had lost all my photographs…  and Clara had lost the miraculous medal which I had bought for her the very first day that she had wore it.  The next time I bought it from the church, I taught her to talk to Father Cyril, asking him to bless the medal.  So this is this medal as shown below.  This time we bought another two, one for me and one for her.  However, the two medals were a bit different.  On Clara’s medal, the year 1830 was shown on the bottom of the medal.  As for mine, Mary stepping on a snake was seen clearly.

Miraculous Medal

This is a special day because this morning, I dreamed of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Statue of Mary just outside the Church of St Anthony of Padua, our Parish Church.
